Branding

Brand Design can be defined as one of the crucial marketing practices of creating the name, logo, design, and the symbolic elements related to the brand to create a distinctive identity in comparison to the other brands in the market and also providing impetus to the product differentiation.

Your brand is what people say about you when your not in the room.

To stand out among the crowd, a company needs to be unique and recognizable. A strong brand is what stands behind each successful product or service. A Global New Product Innovation Survey discovered that nearly 59% of people prefer to buy new products from brands familiar to them, and 21% say they are ready to purchase a product if it comes from a brand they like.

Why is branding so important?

Helps you stand out from the competition.

Builds brand recognition.

Creates a consistent brand experience for your customers.

Sparks a connection with your audience and turns that audience into loyal customers.

What are the elements of branding?

Mission statement and brand values

Your mission statement and brand values are the foundation for your branding. Think of your mission as the brains of the operation—a short and succinct statement that defines the present state and purpose of your organisation. Meanwhile, your company’s vision is its heart, providing an inspirational and motivational snapshot of what you seek to achieve in the long term.

Market and user research

What makes you different than the competition? A brand is an abstract set of ideas or beliefs about an organisation, company, product or person. Most often, a brand is associated with a logo, image or tagline. However, branding, and market research related to branding, also includes elements such as the tone of voice used in communications, fonts, staff uniforms and public perception.

Name / Logo / Colors and Tagline

Your name, your logo and your colour scheme are the face of your company and designing your logo is arguably the single most important branding you’ll do for your business. During the design process, think about who you are as a brand and how you want to be perceived by your customers. This is what will drive your design strategy throughout the entire process

Brand elements

Companies often look for the ways of personalising a brand and designers have a solution. Mascots are the custom design characters created to represent the brand in a quite symbolic way. They can be created as a part of a logo or exist as an individual brand element. Such characters can establish the connection with users as nothing else.

Brand style

When the logo is ready, the color palette is chosen, and other visual elements are prepared, it’s time to unite them into harmonic corporate style. Various attributes can become a branded item depending on a type of a company. But the main key items are Business cards, Correspondence, banners, Email Templates and Vehicle branding.

Style guide

The work is done. The visual material is complete. The last task is to make sure all the assets will be used properly. A style guide is a document providing instructions about correct and wrong ways to use the graphics created for the brand. It also includes typography details, layout specifics and information on visual hierarchy.
